Pinellas County Copwatch-

Members of Pinellas County Copwatch will be periodically patrolling areas where there is a heavy police presents, such as; Protests, areas with a high homeless population, DUI checkpoints, speed traps,etc.. The purpose of this, is to monitor police and citizen encounter to ensure that proper police procedure is being conducted.

In addition to this, we will be testing the officers who pull us over and video tapping their every move. These videos will be available to view very soon.

If you know of an area where you feel the police are abusing their power, please contact us and we'll send our cameras and testers in that area.

At any time, Pinellas County Copwatch is willing to file a complaint or assist in filing a complaint against ANY police officer or department in the U.S.. (any person filing a complaint against a police dept. outside of Pinellas or Hillsborough Counties, will be responsible for following up that complaint on thier own). Any persons filing a complaint against a Pinellas or Hillsborough County officer will have the assistance of PCC through the entire complaint process. We will file the complaint on your behalf, then follow up and investigat that complaint, until the complaint process is complete.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT YOUR NAME IS GOING ON THESE COMPLAINTS- NOT OURS, SO IT WOULD BE WISE FOR YOU TO SUPPLY US WITH ONLY TRUTHFUL INFORMATION. ALSO KEEP IN MIND THAT THE ACCUSSED OFFICER HAS A RIGHT TO SUE YOU IF IT IS DETERMAINDED THAT YOU'VE PROVIDED FALSE INFORMATION IN YOUR COMPLAINT. PINELLAS COUNTY COPWATCH CAN IN NO WAY BE HELD RESPONSIBLE.
